The enshrined deity is Susano-o no Mikoto. There is a cedar tree behind the shrine said to be over 1,300 years old and an important power spot.
This is a historical shrine with records dating back to 1861. The deity enshrined is Susano-no-Mikoto, who named the town Susa after himself and decided to lay his soul to rest here.
A small forest and tall cedar tree stand in the back of the shrine. This tree is said to over 1300 years old. There are hot springs nearby the shrine as well.
